* Special Note: With the transit fare increases of 2002 September 1, the cost of the paid transfer[for travel from The Duquesne Incline to areas beyond Downtown Pittsburgh] has risen from 25 cents to 50 cents. Children(ages 6 to 11) and the Disabled will be charged 25 cents for the paid transfer; previously, they paid 10 cents for the paid transfer. "CT" Continuation Transfers, for travel from the Lower Station of The Duquesne Incline into Downtown Pittsburgh, are still free-of-charge.
Special Note: As of 2002 September 1, Incline Tokens are discontinued, as a means of payment for a ride on The Duquesne Incline.
