Tour Bus: The Duquesne Incline

Tour Bus
Information and Directions:
The Duquesne Incline
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Tour bus companies are encouraged to bring groups to ride The Duquesne Incline, view the beautiful Pittsburgh Golden Triangle and environs from our outdoor observation deck, see the historic hoisting equipment that operates the Incline, tour the small museum in the Upper Station waiting room, and patronize the Incline's Gift Shop.

As with private automobiles, tour buses can park free-of-charge in the parking lot across West Carson Street from the Lower Station of The Duquesne Incline. This parking lot is located between West Carson Street and the Ohio River.

Drop-off and pick-up of tour groups should occur in this large parking lot. There is a pedestrian bridge that crosses West Carson Street, from the parking lot to the Incline's Lower Station, to prevent a direct pedestrian interface with vehicular traffic; no one should actually cross the street at street-level. And, there is no safe place to drop-off or pick-up tour group passengers, other than this parking lot.
