One Way Fares:

Adults -- $1.75
Children(ages 6-11) -- 85 cents
Children(ages 5 and younger) FREE, when accompanied by adult

Senior Citizens(ages 65 and older) -- FREE when showing proper identification.
NOW FREE AT ALL TIMES; there are no longer any restricted hours for using the Senior Citizen Pass !

Disabled Passengers -- HALF-FARE when showing proper identification except two hours during business days: 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.

Adults -- $1.75
Children(ages 6-11) -- 85 cents
Children(ages 5 and younger) FREE, when accompanied by adult

Children(ages 6-11) -- $1.10*
Children(ages 5 and younger) FREE, when accompanied by adult

Senior Citizens(ages 65 and older) -- FREE when showing proper identification.
NOW FREE AT ALL TIMES; there are no longer any restricted hours for using the Senior Citizen Pass !

Disabled Passengers -- HALF-FARE when showing proper identification except two hours during business days: 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.

* Special Note: With the transit fare increases of September 1, 2002, the cost of the paid transfer[for travel from The Duquesne Incline to areas beyond Downtown Pittsburgh] has risen from 25 cents to 50 cents. Children(ages 6 to 11) and the Disabled will be charged 25 cents for the paid transfer; previously, they paid 10 cents for the paid transfer. "CT" Continuation Transfers, for travel from the Lower Station of The Duquesne Incline into Downtown Pittsburgh, are still free-of-charge.


The Duquesne Incline accepts all Port Authority Transit PASSES, TICKETS, and CURRENT TRANSFERS(including free "CT" continuation transfers) as payment for a one-way Incline ride.

Special Note: As of September 1, 2002, Incline Tokens are discontinued, as a means of payment for a ride on The Duquesne Incline.
